The Making of James the Just, brother of Jesus, author of the Epistle of James in the Bible

Posted: 10-May-2026

Would you like to know more about James, Jesus’s brother by birth (a.k.a. James the Just, not to be confused with James the Apostle, who was among Jesus’s closest disciples, along with Peter and John), who became a historical figure by authoring the Epistle of James in the Bible? He was the least likely disciple to rise to the position he did in the early Church.

Like most of the disciples, he had denied Jesus at the crucifixion and run away. Although he had worked alongside Jesus in their father’s carpentry shop, he never believed what Jesus said about himself: that he was the Messiah and the savior of humankind. Rather, he believed Jesus had a deluded mind. While honest, he needed evidence before he could believe, earning him the moniker “the one who measured everything twice before acting” from Jesus.

Yet he rose to the position of head of the ancient Church in Jerusalem, created a family for the persecuted early Christians, and shielded and shepherded them. How?

It turns out that James the Just didn’t do anything special by himself: although he “measured everything twice,” he made himself available to God. He stayed put in Jerusalem and consistently did the small things he could every day for around 31 years. The rest of his accomplishments were the work of God through his hands.

Read this book to discover the making of James the Just and the author of the Epistle of James in the Bible: a consistent commitment that shaped his personality and also nurtured a fledgling church of frightened and troubled Christians in Jerusalem (30 – 62 CE).

A humble, friendly, direct invitation to discover the God of the Bible by examining its claims

Posted: 27-Jul-2025

Argue it whatever way you want, but if you dispassionately go into historical facts, you’ll find the grand old book (i.e. the Bible) is true. And it cannot be silenced.

It continues to speak, even after centuries of censorship, burning, banning, and desecration—all of which have failed miserably. Why is this? Right-thinking minds will surely acknowledge that the Bible’s unconquerable nature points to something profound that’s hidden, prompting inquiring minds to come forward and discover with honesty.

Will you accept this friendly invitation to discover the God of the Bible by examining its claims personally alongside the author rather than being bound by hearsay and the opinions of others?

And you can walk away at any time if you aren’t convinced…

Will you accept?

Reimagine America under a strong, ideal Republican president instead of Joe Biden, 2020-24.

Posted: 18-Apr-2025

Counterfactuals are fun questions that seek to find alternative paths around historical events that changed the course of life. Sure, there’s no changing whatever already happened, however good or bad. Yet, when we think of a disastrous past event, those hurt or affected most by it find it a healing balm when they relive those old moments asking questions like, “How did it happen?", "If it was possible, what should have been done, in time, to prevent it from happening?”, etc.

It’s also a useful means of learning from history to prevent, or at least to be prepared to face a repeat occurrence better.

We know, according to popular opinion, Joe Biden was incompetent in his presidential role, 2020-24. Besides, he harmed the nation on some fronts, leaving behind a legacy of mass, stuck illegal immigrants, border crisis, mismanaged taxpayer funds, instability on the global stage, etc.

This book is an interesting counterfactual that addresses the question, “How would America have fared had a conservative Republican won the 2020 presidential elections (instead of Joe Biden)?”

Lies are “Words spoken, written, or unspoken that seek to confuse, deceive, manipulate, hurt, and destroy people.”

Posted: 15-Dec-2023

It’s true! Lies are harmful. Lies are destroying the world. They are more dangerous than we think.

Come to think of it, there’s no such thing as an ‘innocent’ or ‘harmless’ lie. Let’s keep excuses and white lies aside for a while and focus on solid, intentional, black lies alone. Why do we need lies at all? If we examine that question, we’ll realize that the purpose behind every lie is one of (to): confuse, deceive, manipulate, hurt, or destroy the recipient(s).

Lies do so much damage that in today’s world of disinformation/misinformation, entire media wars are fought and won by creating and propagating deliberate lies. AI/deep fakes/hi-tech can convincingly turn innocents into criminals and vice-versa, so how do we find the truth?

If such be the dangerous power of lies, a deep examination of the effects of truth and lies on life becomes worthwhile. Truth points one to God. Truth is light. Truth builds up. Lies point you in just the opposite direction, to the devil, and guaranteed destruction over time! This book examines the nitty-gritty of truth and lies.

Review of the book 'The Printed' by Cameron Fitzgerald posted

All the signs of the world's decline and decay are around us: the lost battle to global warming, natural resources (particularly drinking water) becoming scarce, many kinds of environmental pollution, a rash of pandemics and killer diseases occurring at frequencies never heard before, and so on. Govs are finding it hard to cope and are trying desparate measures to stem the speed at which were plunging into destruction. (Note: Destruction cannot be averted, it's only the speed at which we are approaching it that Govs are trying to contain!).

Religions, have been proclaiming the doom of the world for long. Now scientists and rational thinkers agree. In this scenario, can we expect the Bible's predictions about religious persecution to begin in the not-too-distant future? The author believes it's true.

In this book, in a fresh, surprisingly beautiful story form, the author portrays what he envisions the religious, particularly Christians, will have to suffer in future at the hands of an anti-religion world.
