America was founded by Puritan Christians in the seventeenth century. Since then, it was and continues to be a God-fearing nation. However, you may be surprised to know that its leaders have all had an inexplicable, crowd-pulling power called ‘charisma.’ Now, ‘charisma’ isn’t what we commonly think it is; rather, it has a long history dating back to the ancient Greeks, and profound and complex psychological meanings. It defies reason. Otherwise, how did the Germans once choose Hitler, of all, as their leader? Or, did Indians choose M K Gandhi as theirs?
